A must-have for all library-lovers! Thanks, Jennifer Resnick (who first sent me the link) and Steve Lawson (who reminded me about it).

Lovely! (They’re *check-out* cards, though: we used to sign our names, and it was great to check on who had read a book–til the FBI began snooping out who had been reading about explosives, Lenin, etc. and it all went secret.)

Argh! You’re right! I’ve fixed. I’m quite familiar with check-out cards — my first library job was at Harris Hill Elementary in 1980, sorting the check-out cards using a flippy-flappy sorter like this one: https://img1.etsystatic.com/000/0/5325512/il_570xN.92690231.jpg
